How to make the crate mould life longer?

1.       First of all, select suitable mould base and cavity, core steel material. Such as: product a set of 4 cavities crate mould, we must adopt the steel which hardness > 33 as the mould base, then choose suitable mould standard spare parts.

2.       Second, we must control every steel’s hardness, can’t too hard.

3.       Third, all of the mould friction and guide parts must do finish machining, can’t adopt any hand work.

4.       Forth, some mould supplier will use recycle plastic material to produce, so we must consider the two points:

A: how to guarantee the small impurity in the material won’t hurt cavity, core.

B: how to avoid impurity get into cavity.

How to realize high quality plastic crate mould high speed injection?

1.       Better plastic material filling system need special hot runner system assisting, because stable production crate need low melt HDPE material, such as 4 or 6, etc.

2.       Make sure the cooling system reached to a perfect result. To produce stable crate mold, we must make the mould molding surface the best cooling system design. Moreover, produce disposable plastic crate mold, must use hardened and tempered steel matched with perfect cooling water design.

3.       Adopt high speed injection machine to produce products, the machine screw RPM must larger than 350. Most of the crate manufacturer would like to choose accumulator to enhance injection speed.

4.       The design of mold is very important, too. The ejection method had better design as mechanical eject automatically, so that will finished eject action when open mould. of course, if the machine can install 2 hydraulic driving to make machine eject automatically, and the mould opening action will be much more smoother.

5.       With regard to different mold, it must be with high precision when realize high speed operation. And the spare parts must have correct guide function, or the mould won’t operate with high speed.
